Baking Bake
when I have bread, the upper crust becomes tough after cooking. how to make the crust tender?
I roll the dough into shapes, egg wash and bake. after cooking, the rind is hard, but soft inside. Also the oil used in kneading pulp.
Is it that the rolls are cooked at too high a temperature. I bake all the loaves at 375 degrees. With a little milk instead water in the dough will give a soft crust also to brush the bread with a little butter, when it leaves the oven.
